Hillcrest Farmer's Market -- Snapshots!

I love Farmer's Markets. My Hillcrest neighborhood in San Diego has a great one on Sundays. Below are pictures I snapped during my last visit. Visit sites like www.localharvest.org to find a local Farmer's Market in your area!

Amazon Lily, Eucharis grandiflora. ....its one of my favorites... its not very well known... someone brought it into my Nursery when I was in College.. and had no clue what it was... but the plant had been in the family for a long time..... I DIDNT SLEEP until i found out what is was, that was when i was in Arkansas, and you would never see this plant there... so it was a treat! They are quite easy to grow. Just keep the soil slightly moist all the time and try to avoid temperatures bellow 45°.
